The Structure of a Q Rivet Product Code:‍‍

Q Rivets have 3 prefixes and 2 suffixes to the "Q" rivet type.
The prefixes denote Body material, Mandrel material, and Head Style, while the suffixes denote Length and Grip Range.
The first letter, or Body Material can be "A", "B","C", or "S". These stand for Aluminum, Aluminum, CRES / Stainless Steel, and Steel, respectively
The second letter, or Mandrel Material, can be "A", "C", or "S". These stand for Aluminum, CRES / Stainless Steel, and Steel, respectively
The third letter, or Head Style, can be “P”, “C”, or “L”. These stand for “Dome Head”, “Countersunk Head”, and “Large Flange Head”, respectively.

Putting these pieces together allows you to see the specific family of Q Rivets you are looking for in your application! For example, a Dome Head Q Rivet with an Aluminum head and Aluminum mandrel can be noted as an “AAPQ” rivet.
